Overiew
This fun game reminds your child just how special they are and how unique God made them — all while folding laundry. Hide a small piece of candy in a pile of clean clothes so they can discover the treasure within.

Prepare the Game
Dump out a pile of laundry on a bed, chair or sofa. Then, place a small piece of your child’s favorite candy in a pocket or sock. Then, invite your child to join you.

Play the Game
Say: Please come help me fold this laundry. I’ve even hidden a special treat for you inside — something for you to find while we’re completing this chore. There are only two rules to this game:
- If you touch it, you fold it.
- When you find the treasure, hold it up.
While you’re folding the laundry, remind your child they’re a lot like the treasure in the pile.
Say: There’s a lot of clothes in this pile, but there’s only one that has the candy — just like there’s only one “you” in the world. God made you very special!

Praise & Prayer
When your child finds the candy, remind them how precious they are.
Say: You are way more valuable than anything money could buy. That’s because God Himself, the Creator of life, designed you. Just like that piece of clothing was set apart with a treasure inside, you’re set apart because of what God has in store for your life.
Share the hope of God’s Word and pray together with your child.
