Dr. Nicole Wilke

Nicole Wilke, PhD, grew up in a family that had been fostering children since before she was born and adopted nine of her siblings. As a therapist, she has invested in children who have experienced complex trauma, serving in residential care settings and through cross-cultural ministries to orphans. She is currently the director of the Center on Applied Research for Vulnerable Children and Families, an initiative of the Christian Alliance for Orphans.  The Center supports around 300 organizations across 130+ nations and impacts millions of at-risk children and families. Her books include Vulnerable Children in a Digital Age and Overcoming: What Scripture & Science Say About Resilience. She and her husband, Josh, currently reside in Peru with their three girls, where they work to see vulnerable children raised in healthy families.
